Softball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry managed to slip by Laingsburg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Ramblers lost 17-3 to the Wolfpack on Thursday.

Perry has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Laingsburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry will welcome Dansville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Laingsburg, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Charlotte at 4:00 p.m. on the 26th.
