While Santa Ana Valley's win against Anaheim wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Colonists on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Santa Ana Valley's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Anaheim, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Santa Ana Valley will be playing at home against Rancho Alamitos at 4:45 p.m. on the 10th. As for Anaheim, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Katella on the 4th.
