Soccer Game Preview: Alamosa vs. Bayfield

The Alamosa Mean Moose will head out to challenge the Bayfield Wolverines at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Alamosa has five straight victories, Bayfield has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Alamosa's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Pagosa Springs with a sharp 4-0 win. Considering Alamosa have won three games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Bayfield fell victim to Crested Butte and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Titans, falling 10-0.

Alamosa's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Bayfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
