Memphis Rise Academy was dealt a 70-43 loss at the hands of Trezevant. Memphis Rise Academy was down 52-32 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 93-40, which was the final score in Crosstown's tilt against Memphis Business Academy on Tuesday. The Explorers have struggled against the Execs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Memphis Rise Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Crosstown, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Memphis Rise Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Crosstown in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 58-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Memphis Rise Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
