Volleyball Game Preview: Chamberlain Cubs vs. Kimball/White Lake Wildkats

Chamberlain hasn't had much luck against Kimball/White Lake recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cubs will challenge the Wildkats at 7:45 p.m.

While Chamberlain was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Gregory's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Kimball/White Lake can bid farewell to their six-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Hanson 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildkats have posted since September 13th.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (108-91) Kimball/White Lake actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-22, 18-25, 8-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Chamberlain's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Kimball/White Lake, their win bumped their record up to 4-15.

Chamberlain suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Kimball/White Lake when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Cubs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
