Baseball Recap: Camden County Comes Up Short

Camden County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against Richmond Hill, falling 20-10. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Richmond Hill this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-1 loss on Friday.

Will Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted over his last 12 matchups. Parker Riendeau was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Richmond Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Camden County will venture away from home to take on Thomas County Central at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Richmond Hill, they will challenge St. Johns Country Day at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
