Football Recap: Winder-Barrow Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Forsyth Central last Friday, Winder-Barrow came back down to earth. The Bulldoggs fell 21-14 to the East Forsyth Broncos on Friday. If the Bulldoggs were looking for revenge after losing 34-30 to the Broncos when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Winder-Barrow still got an impressive performance from Demetrius Dowdy, who rushed for 133 yards and one score. Dowdy is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 101 every time he's taken the field this season.

Winder-Barrow now has a losing record of 1-2. As for East Forsyth, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Winder-Barrow will welcome Seckinger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Forsyth, they will venture away from home to face off against Chestatee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
