Softball Recap: Evart Wins Going Away Against Lakewood

While Evart put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Lakewood. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Vikings. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by eight runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Evart and bumps their season record up to 12-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Lakewood, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Evart and Lakewood will both be playing Cedar Springs the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Red Hawks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
