Basketball Recap: White Station Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

White Station entered their tilt with Trezevant on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They skirted past the Trezevant Bears 53-50. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Bears are ranked 224th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Amare Boothe was her usual excellent self, going 10 of 20 on her way to 24 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyndall Reynolds, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

White Station's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Trezevant, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White Station will venture away from home to take on Kingsbury at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trezevant, they will head out to square off against St. Agnes Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
