Volleyball Recap: Charlotte Latin Victorious

Charlotte Latin had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Davidson Day Patriots on Friday.

Allie Haynie paced Charlotte Latin's offense, picking up seven kills. Haynie got some help from Emily Cao and her 14 assists. Haynie was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Coincidentally, Charlotte Latin and Davidson Day will both be playing Coastal Christian the next time they take the court. The Hawks will head out to face the Centurions at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 6:15 p.m.
