Baseball Recap: Redondo Union Takes a Loss

Redondo Union lost against Bishop Montgomery back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Redondo Union fell 7-2 to Bishop Montgomery.

Redondo Union saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Schwartz, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That's the most hits Schwartz has posted since March 4th.

Redondo Union's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Bishop Montgomery, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Redondo Union will square off against Palos Verdes at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bishop Montgomery, they will venture away from home to challenge Cathedral at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bishop Montgomery 3.4, Cathedral 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
