Baseball Recap: Spring Valley Takes a Loss

Spring Valley was the 15-14 winner over Westwood when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell 7-2 to the Redhawks on Tuesday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spring Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Bledsoe, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Spring Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Westwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

While Spring Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
