Keystone Heights is a perfect 5-0 against Interlachen since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Keystone Heights Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the Interlachen Rams at 7:00 p.m. Interlachen took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Keystone Heights, who comes in off a win.

Keystone Heights was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Baker County on Friday. Keystone Heights blew past Baker County 9-1. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Ethan Franklin was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only a hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Franklin was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Austin Smith and Tallon Campbell did most of the damage at the plate: Smith scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Campbell scored a run while going 3-for-5. Destin Harnage was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Keystone Heights kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Baker County only hit four hits.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Interlachen's offense. They came up short against Vanguard on Friday, falling 10-0. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Keystone Heights' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Interlachen, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Everything went Keystone Heights' way against Interlachen in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Keystone Heights made off with an 11-4 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Keystone Heights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
