Softball Game Preview: Wonewoc-Center Wolves vs. Kickapoo Panthers

The Wonewoc-Center Wolves will venture away from home to challenge the Kickapoo Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Wonewoc-Center nor Kickapoo posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Wonewoc-Center fell victim to Brookwood and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 14-0 to the Falcons. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Kickapoo had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against Hillsboro two weeks ago, falling 11-1.

Kickapoo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddy Townsend, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double.
