If Wesleyan wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Walker, they should've done a better job of containing King Daniel Hernandez. Everything went the Walker Wolverines' way against the Wesleyan Wolves on Saturday as the Walker Wolverines made off with a 66-42 win thanks in part to Hernandez, who went 8 of 12 en route to 18 points along with eight boards and three steals. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Lorenzo McCorvey, who posted seven points in addition to eight boards and three steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Walker is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.6 points per game. As for Wesleyan, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Walker will face off against King's Ridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wesleyan, they will square off against Mount Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
