After soaring to 62 points the game before, Lakeland Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They came up short against the DeMotte Christian Knights, falling 45-25. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Olivia Hawks and Katie Reimink certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Hawks posted four points and six rebounds, while Reimink put up ten points along with five rebounds and three steals. Reimink has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played.

Sophie Bakker was her usual excellent self, going 9 of 19 on her way to 23 points and six boards for DeMotte Christian. The team also got some help courtesy of Cora Dyke, who had seven points.

Lakeland Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for DeMotte Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.
