Volleyball Recap: Cahokia Takes a Loss

Cahokia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Collinsville Kahoks. If the Comanches were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Kahoks when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15.

Cahokia's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Collinsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cahokia will take on Highland at 4:15 p.m. on October 9. As for Collinsville, they will venture away from home to challenge Granite City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
