On Tuesday Flower Mound will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will face off against the Marcus Marauders at 6:30 p.m. Flower Mound will be strutting in after a victory while Marcus will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Flower Mound made easy work of Braswell and carried off a 3-0 win.
Flower Mound never let Braswell on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-16.
Meanwhile, Marcus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of Guyer by a score of 3-2.
Marcus actually scored more points across those five sets (104-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 12-25, 22-25, 15-10.
Flower Mound's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-14. As for Marcus, their loss dropped their record down to 6-28.
Everything went Flower Mound's way against Marcus in their previous meeting back in September, as Flower Mound made off with a 3-0 win.
