Baseball Recap: Bishop DuBourg Comes Up Short

Bishop DuBourg fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Crystal City on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 4-3. The Cavaliers were not able to make up for their loss to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Bishop DuBourg now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Crystal City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Coming up, Bishop DuBourg will face off against Cardinal Ritter College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cavaliers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Crystal City, they will take on Vashon/Miller Career Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
