The Providence Christian Academy LIONS are taking a road trip to face off against the Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Providence Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Providence Christian Academy challenged Concord Christian on Friday. The LIONS walked away with a 38-28 victory over the Lions.

Meanwhile, Middle Tennessee Christian earned a 35-28 win over Tipton-Rosemark Academy last Friday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Alie Bangura and Nix Fullen. Bangura had a great game and rushed for 128 yards and one score while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Fullen was balling out in the loss, rushing for 140 yards and four touchdowns, while also picking up 33 receiving yards.

Providence Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Middle Tennessee Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Providence Christian Academy against Middle Tennessee Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 41-7 win. Will the LIONS repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
