Basketball Recap: Athens Bible Takes Down Shoals Christian in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Athens Bible walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Shoals Christian Flame on Friday as they made off with a 63-37 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-47 last Friday.

Athens Bible is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Shoals Christian, their loss was their 16th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-29.

Athens Bible wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-37 victory against Waterloo on the 31st. Shoals Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
