Volleyball Recap: Omro Takes a Loss

Omro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Reedsville Panthers. The Foxes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Payton Reiter paced Omro's offense, picking up five kills. Reiter got some help from Reagan Reiter and her five assists.

Kayla Peterson was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high. Amya O'Connell also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Omro's loss dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Reedsville, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-11.

Omro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Florence on the 27th. As for Reedsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Denmark on the 27th.
