Football Recap: McArthur Takes a Loss

McArthur fell victim to South Plantation and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paladins. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Paladins are ranked 151st).

McArthur's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12. As for South Plantation, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-5 record.

McArthur has already played their next game, a 45-0 loss against Boyd Anderson on the 7th. As for South Plantation, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against Coral Glades on the 7th.
