Volleyball Recap: Leland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Leland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Earlville Red Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss on Saturday.

Leland was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23.

Leland's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Earlville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Leland is set to face off against their familiar foe DePue at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Earlville will challenge rival LaMoille at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
