Basketball Game Preview: Hershey Trojans vs. West York Area Bulldogs

The Hershey Trojans will take on the West York Area Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hershey comes in on five and West York Area on three.

Hershey is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Penn-Trafford by a score of 52-43. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Warriors are ranked 186th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West York Area). They put the hurt on Peters Township with a sharp 75-49 win on Tuesday.

Hershey's victory was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2. As for West York Area, their win bumped their record up to 23-7.

Hershey beat West York Area 61-54 when the teams last played back in February. Does Hershey have another victory up their sleeve, or will West York Area turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
