The Mt. Enterprise Wildcats are on the road again on Friday to play the Wortham Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mt. Enterprise is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Deweyville with a sharp 40-16 win. The Wildcats' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

It was another big night for Kaegan Ash, who rushed for 166 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Morgan was balling out in the loss, throwing for 298 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt.

Wortham didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Kymani Johnson picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown.

Wortham's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Mt. Enterprise, their win bumped their record up to an identical 8-3.

Friday's match might be decided in the on the ground. Mt. Enterprise has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 344.8 rushing yards per game.
