Soccer Game Preview: Newport - Bellevue vs. Eastlake

The Newport - Bellevue Knights will face off against the Eastlake Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newport - Bellevue is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Newport - Bellevue is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They came out on top against Bonney Lake by a score of 4-2 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Eastlake kept a clean sheet against Skyline on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spartans. Eastlake might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by three goals or more this season.

Newport - Bellevue's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for Eastlake, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-3.

Newport - Bellevue was able to grind out a solid victory over Eastlake when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Will Newport - Bellevue repeat their success, or does Eastlake has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
