Volleyball Recap: Hilliard Bradley Takes a Loss

Hilliard Bradley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Upper Arlington Golden Bears, falling 3-0. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their loss to the Golden Bears from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-18.

Hilliard Bradley's offense was headlined by Shannen Stevenson and Shay Soumah, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Noah Santone and his 13 assists.

Hilliard Bradley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Upper Arlington, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Hilliard Bradley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Briggs at 7:00 p.m. on April 7. As for Upper Arlington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Olentangy Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
