Softball Recap: Greenfield Takes a Loss

Greenfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 24-2 to the Wheaton Bulldogs. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Greenfield's record now sits at 0-5. As for Wheaton, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Greenfield will welcome Hume at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Hornets have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Wheaton, they will challenge Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
