If Hale Ray was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Old Lyme on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Noises came up short against the Cromwell Panthers on Monday, falling 3-0. The Noises' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

While Hale Ray was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Cromwell's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-23.

Hale Ray's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Maggie Janecek, who had 19 digs and two assists, and Fenway Jankowski, who had 13 digs and one assist.
