Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Algonac). They never let the New Haven Rockets get on the board and left with  a   15-0  win  on Saturday. The Muskrats not only won  on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win  since June 8, 2024 (when they won  19-4).
 Morgan Reams made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Reams was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Autumn Dueweke, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high.  Jaycee Reams was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
 Algonac  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .577. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Haven only posted  an  OBP of  .273.
Algonac is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-12-1 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.9 runs over those games. As for New Haven, their defeat was  their ninth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 1-18.
As of now, neither Algonac nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
