Soccer Recap: Groton Comes Up Short

The Groton Red Hawks came up short against the Waverly Wolverines on Friday and fell 3-1.

Groton now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Waverly, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Groton has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Southern Cayuga on the 27th. Hopefully Waverly paid attention to the Red Hawks' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Red Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
