Game recap: Camas High School Football Team beats Heritage

After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Reilly Hennessey to John Norcross in the first quarter, Camas (Wash.) led 48-0 at the half.

The Papermakers expanded their lead to 55 points entering the fourth quarter. Camas scored once in the quarter on a Vicente Huber touchdown run.

A 34-point second quarter helped CHS secure the big victory. The Papermakers scored on a Nate Beasley touchdown run, a touchdown pass by Hennessey to Connor Maloney, a Hennessey touchdown pass to Zach Eagie, a touchdown run by Eagie and a touchdown pass by Hennessey to Jack Beali in the quarter.

Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 58-6 win for Camas.



The defeat comes as a step back for Heritage, which notched a 12-7 victory over Battle Ground in its previous outing.

Heritage (2-6) will play a 4A Greater St. Helens game against Evergreen next week, while Camas (8-0) will take on Battle Ground also in a 4A Greater St. Helens game.
