Softball Recap: Trinity Has No Trouble Against Fall River

In Friday's Canine Competition, Trinity prevailed. They blew past the Fall River Bulldogs 22-6 on Friday. Considering the Wolves have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jessica Brown was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025.

In other batting news, Trinity got a massive performance out of Adriana Seele, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Koral Plew was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and three RBI.

Trinity hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

The win made it two in a row for Trinity and bumps their season record up to 9-10. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 24.0 runs over those games. As for Fall River, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will challenge Ferndale at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fall River, they will face off against Burney at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season.
