Football Game Preview: Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks vs. Central Jaguars + Official Tickets

The Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks will challenge the Central Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Back in October, Port St. Joe got the win against Destin by a conclusive 30-7. The result was nothing new for the Tiger Sharks, who have now won three matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Corban Butts and Junior Harris. Butts had a great game and rushed for 110 yards on only 11 carries. Meanwhile, Harris did his best for the losing side, rushing for 122 yards on only 14 carries.

Port St. Joe didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Zay Jenkins led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Jayden Curry got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Central had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 28-20 win over the Gators. Winning may never get old, but the Jaguars sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
