Flag Football Recap: Leland Find Success

Leland's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 25-12 victory over the Pioneer Mustangs. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in September, they had to take a 13-6 loss.

The win got Leland back to even at 5-5. As for Pioneer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leland will host Piedmont Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates' defense has only allowed 12.4 points per game this season, so the Chargers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pioneer, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Branham at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
