Basketball Recap: JAG Comes Up Short on the Road Against Park Crossing

JAG had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 83-71 to the Park Crossing Thunderbirds on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Micheal May, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 13 rebounds. He has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jayden Hollis, who posted ten points.

Park Crossing pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. JAG will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Thompson at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Park Crossing, they will challenge Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
