Rapid City Central lost against Watertown back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cobblers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arrows. The Cobblers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Watertown was led to victory by Andi Olson and Hensley Hogue. Olson had 11 digs, while Hogue had four aces and three digs. That's the most aces Hogue has posted over her last seven contests.

Rapid City Central's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Watertown, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Rapid City Central is set to square off against their familiar foe Harrisburg at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Watertown will challenge rival Stevens at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
