Last Tuesday, everything went Roosevelt's way against El Dorado as Roosevelt made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Roosevelt found their leader in underclassman Gia Eleccion, who had 13 digs. With that strong performance, Eleccion is now averaging an impressive 4.7 digs per game.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for King, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged Poly out 3-2.

King took Poly into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-29, 25-20, 27-25, 14-25, 15-8.

Angeline Morales and Allison Mason were among the main playmakers for King as the former had 27 digs and the latter had 22 kills and 13 digs.

King kept the net locked down and finished the game with 11 blocks. That's the most blocks they've managed all season.

Roosevelt has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for King, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
