Volleyball Recap: Shenandoah Has No Trouble Against Purdue Polytechnic

Shenandoah not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 9, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Purdue Polytechnic Techies. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Techies, too.

One reason for the win was Shenandoah's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Purdue Polytechnic lost, don't look at Alyssa Hickman. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and one assist. Magdalena Wiegel also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Shenandoah is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Purdue Polytechnic, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Shenandoah has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Frankton on the 28th. As for Purdue Polytechnic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Christel House on the 3rd.
