Baseball Recap: Zach Daniel's Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Creek over Inglemoor

North Creek was the 5-3 winner over Inglemoor when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars wound up with the same score they had in their last game (2-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Landon Taylor was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, North Creek saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Daniel, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

North Creek has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Inglemoor, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.
