Basketball Recap: Fergus Comes Up Short

After soaring to 59 points the game before, Fergus was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Dawson County Red Devils and fell 58-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Golden Eagles have suffered since January 17th.

Despite the loss, Fergus saw an underclassman step up: freshman Madden Norslien posted three points and six assists. Dash Ruff was another key player, putting up five points.

Fergus' defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Dawson County, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Coming up, Fergus will welcome Custer County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dawson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
