Soccer Game Preview: Adamson vs. White

Adamson is 0-6 against White since January of 2022 but things could change on Saturday. The Adamson Leopards will look to defend their home pitch against the White Longhorns at 11:30 a.m. Adamson has given up an average of 7 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Adamson is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Monday. They lost 8-0 to Molina. While losing is never fun, the Leopards can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 738th, while the Jaguars are ranked 294th).

Meanwhile, White kept a clean sheet against Sunset on Monday. They put the hurt on the Bison with a sharp 3-0 victory. Considering the Longhorns have won nine games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

White has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 48 goals over those 12 matches. Adamson's loss dropped their record down to 0-16.

Adamson suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to White in their previous meeting back in February. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Adamson was down 6-1.
