Clinton let Madison stack five runs on them in the sixth inning on Tuesday but luckily Clinton prevailed anyway. The Redskins had just enough and edged out the Trojans 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Redskins have posted since April 11th.

Quinn Walden was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Phillip, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Clinton moved to 9-11 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Madison, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8.

Clinton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trojans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
