Soccer Recap: East Rutherford Comes Up Short

East Rutherford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Polk County Wolverines. East Rutherford were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

East Rutherford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Polk County, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Rutherford will welcome Shelby at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shelby will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something East Rutherford surely won't give up without a fight. As for Polk County, they will challenge Brevard at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
