Volleyball Recap: Ashland Clockers vs. Bellingham Blackhawks

If Ashland was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Millis on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Clockers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bellingham Blackhawks on Monday. The Clockers were not able to make up for their loss to the Blackhawks from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-7, 22-25, 25-16.

Ashland's offense was headlined by Nicole Chin and Elaina Early, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Lili Vitti and her ten assists. Quinn Herter controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Bellingham can attribute much of their success to Sophia Soto, who had 15 digs and four assists.
