Basketball Recap: Prospect Takes a Loss

Prospect lost against Leland back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Prospect Panthers fell to the Leland Chargers 55-50.

It was another big night for Steven Watson, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 24 points along with five boards and three blocks for Leland. Watson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gurkaran Khehra, who posted eight points.

Prospect's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Leland, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Prospect will face off against San Jose at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prospect is facing San Jose at the right time seeing as San Jose is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Leland, they will square off against Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th.
