Basketball Recap: Austin Takes a Loss

Austin lost against Eastern back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Austin Eagles fell 63-53 to the Eastern Musketeers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Eastern, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.

Austin and Eastern could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. Austin will face off against Charlestown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 184 places (265 vs. 81). Meanwhile, Eastern (ranked 381st) will meet Orleans (ranked 67th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
