Basketball Recap: Bunn Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Saturday. Bunn took a blow against Millbrook, falling 61-32. Bunn was down 50-22 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Bunn's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Makayla Richardson, who posted 15 points, and Gracyn Williams, who put up ten points and seven boards.

Millbrook got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maika Jones out in front who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points Jones has posted since back in December of 2024. Grace Bardeen was another key player, shooting 45% from the field en route to 12 points and seven assists.

This is the second loss in a row for Bunn and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Millbrook, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Bunn has already played their next matchup (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Millbrook, they will head out on the road to take on Athens Drive at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
