Volleyball Game Preview: Legacy Lions vs. South Fork Bulldogs

The Legacy Lions will square off against the South Fork Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Legacy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They blew past Sebastian River 3-0.

Legacy was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-19, 25-19.

Legacy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Kherington Neikirk, who had eight digs and six aces, and Paisley Woods, who had 11 digs and seven assists. Those seven assists gave Woods a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Legacy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in seven consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, South Fork made easy work of Port St. Lucie on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: South Fork took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-8, 25-7.

Legacy's record now sits at 19-7. As for South Fork, their record is now 20-6.
